Equator Aircraft Norway Membership Levels

Equator Aircraft Norway SA (registered in Norway at brreg.no) is a consortium of idealists who believe in aviation- innovation and development toward a new and better future in the GA industry. Using well known industrial design strategies in our work we arrive at new exciting concepts where aircraft are designed to be more accessible, practical, less expensive and easier to use. This development process takes both lots of time, and of course money. The Equator Aircraft Norway Crew put down thousands of hours every year without wages and put personal funds into the project to realize our dreams. In our consortium we want developers all over the world to contribute to our system, we believe in an open, and idealistic approach where each member can apply a small amount of resources and see their dreams come alive along with ours. This is a new way of financing a project with large amounts of intellectual currency and some private and sponsored finances.

To date we have 6 different levels of membership involvement that will grant members exclusive rights to the aircraft and system as a whole. Please choose the membership level you prefer based on your wished level of involvement or contribution. All levels can be combined to the extent it fits your wishes.

Level#1 : Crew Member

You are an active expert contributor of time and a yearly economic contribution (one set fee of 1000NOK per year, and special payments devised by the board under certain circumstances), and open to take responsibility for parts of the projects going on at any given time according to your wish and qualifications.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 hours of work per month
• Must sign an NDA
• Must have lower relevant experience (every member background is checked by the board)
• 1000 NOK approx. $ 230 pr year as membership fee, which goes into prototype development
• Open to personal investment of funds into the project

Pay off:

• You Receive a part voting right in the SA company in accordance with work done (work is assessed by the board)
• You will be granted the option to get a stock percentage in the future stock based company
• Admittance to shared folders and material worked on by Equator Aircraft
• Free Admittance to all Equator Aircraft Ensembles / Fairs
• Invite to the yearly General Meet and special Design Reviews
• You can part take in the construction of the prototype
• Invite to Aero Friedrichshafen Equator Spring House
• Exclusive rights to all offices and production facilities
• Exclusive rights to all testing done
• You can use visual material at your disposal along with Equator Guidelines
• Continued Updates via Mail
• You will receive 3 Equator Aircraft Patches and Business Cards

The expert membership section is made especially for individuals with a high degree of competence and experience within aviation development. The contributors are delivering specified knowledge within specialized areas, and will be inserted based on a board review of the individual applicant, at every given moment there are different needs in the project.

Requirements:

• No minimum hours of work per month
• Must sign an NDA
• Must have highly relevant experience (every contributor is reviewed by the board

Pay off:

• You will be granted the option to get stock in the future stock based company (AS), based on work done (assessed by the board)
• Admittance to shared folders and material worked on by Equator Aircraft
• Free Admittance to all Equator Aircraft Ensembles / Fairs
• Invite to the yearly General Meet and special Design Reviews
• You will be invited to part take in the construction of the prototype
• Invite to Aero Friedrichshafen Equator “Summer House”
• Exclusive rights to all offices and production facilities
• Exclusive rights to all testing done
• You can use visual material at your discretion along with Equator Guidelines
• Continued Updates via Mail
• You will receive Business Cards

Level #3: Client

The purchase of Equator Aircraft is yet unavailable. But we would like to register your interest and decisive will to purchase. You can do this by entering a special membership level called “Client”. The clients are prospective EQP2 builders and owners, that want to get an early placement on our customer lists.

To show your continued support of the ongoing project until the aircraft is ready for sale you may make down payment to Equator at 50 000 NOK (approx. 9000$) which will be allocated to the construction of the prototype. This will prove you are interested in buying an EQP2 KIT (Experimental) Aircraft, and it will grant you access to the first 50 limited edition self build Aircraft at a discounted price, built within the guidance of Equator at a future site to be determined (as it will be a part of the development of the Equator DIY system). You will get access to and be presented within a special web page that follows your specific project for your own amusement and for Equator marketing purposes.

Requirements:

• A serious incentive to buy and build an EQP2 must be proven.
• Must have some relevant experience, some EAA knowledge is beneficial.
• The membership requires one down payment of 50 000 NOK ($ 9 000) on the project.

Level #4: Sponsor

As a sponsor you are a part of a company that can provide the EQP2 project with intellectual or physical contributions. All areas of aviation development is interesting and each contact will be reviewed by the board to determine the given agreement.

What does your company get in return?

The Equator Crew always strive to document our process for PR purposes. We develop good websites with 12000+ visits pr month (increasing), we are present in social media (twitter, facebook), we send out newsletters at least 4 times a year to all industry connections, web-logs and press, we upload films to YouTube, and we will document all tests of the aircraft in professional movie material on the ground, in water and in the air.

Dependant upon the investment cost of materials and services you deliver, all investments / sponsorships will be organized by size. The presence of your sponsorship will be in place until the end of the P2 test flights. 3-5 years.

If eligible (determined based on the size of contribution)  you will receive a logo placement on the fuselage, tail and wings of our prototype. (These logos must be delivered us at a given date, at a given size and be waterproof of course).

Our scale (1:4) Models of the aircraft may be lent out for exhibitions and special occations at postal charges only. The model can be fitted with your logo.

You will receive rights to commercialise our material through your own interaction with the public sphere. Films, Photos, Renderings can be used at your own discretion, but according to Equator Corporate Identity Guidelines.

You will be presented by logo / slogan, in the beginning of all films. These will be oploaded to the internet, and shown in several presentations and exhibitions.

You will get a cooperative spot on our website and weblog, with links and contact information.

You will get your logo presented on posters, pamphlets, newsletters and PR information sent out to clients and press.

You will be noted as one of those innovative companies that made electric amphibious flight possible in all speaches held by Equator Aircraft and in the general press.

We will get back to you after we review your request in board meetings held once a month. You can expect feed-back days after the following board meeting. Board meeting dates are written down in the sidebar calendar on the right.

Level #5: Supporter

As a supporter you donate a sum of money at your own discretion to support the development of a unique product that has huge potential in changing the way the GA industry develop products. If you also want to be registered as a Supporter please fill out the membership form, and add a note on the amount contributed.

No Requirements

Any amount of money is highly appreciated. The default sum is 100$, if you want to contribute more please fill out the registration and we will send you the documents.

Level #6: Student

As a prospective up-and-coming active student with ambitions within driving future aviation development. The EQP2 project is the ideal platform from which to evolve your portfolio. We have at every given time over 30 prospective student assignments. Simply register at the members registration check student in the check boxes, and note what tasks you want to get involved in.
